Health & recovery

Training that listens to your recovery.

Readiness here is a number you can audit, not a feeling. Every morning, Halden scores you 0–100 from five signals over your last 14 days, shows you each subscore, and shapes tomorrow's session around the result.

01The score

Five signals. Zero black box.

The formula is deterministic and identical everywhere it runs: the same inputs always produce the same score. Each subscore comes with its own 7-day sparkline, so you can see why today's number is today's number.

  • Sleep

Duration and consistency, last 14 nights

  • HRV trend

Direction against your own baseline, not someone else's

  • Resting HR trend

Creeping RHR is an early warning the score respects

  • Soreness

Your check-in, ten seconds, straight into the score

  • Fatigue

Subjective, but yours, and weighted accordingly

02Beyond the score

Recovery depth, when you want it.

The readiness score is the daily headline. Underneath it, Halden keeps the full picture from Apple Health.

  • Sleep sessions with stages, not just a nightly total.
  • Heart metrics and VO2 max, trended over time.
  • Daily activity: steps, active energy, movement.
  • Workouts recorded by other apps and devices, imported automatically.

03What it changes

The score has consequences.

Readiness isn't a badge to look at. It's an input the planner is required to respect.

  • High readiness: progression gets the green light, with heavier loads or more volume.
  • Low readiness: a built-in downshift gate reduces volume and intensity. It's a rule, not a suggestion.
  • Very low: the plan becomes recovery work, and says so plainly.
  • Feel different than the data says? A manual check-in recomputes the score and regenerates tomorrow's plan on the spot.
